Why is learning important to you?
Janet and Cecil : Hi, my name is Janet Stone. I'm taking the seniors, what is the seniors. Computer skills for seniors here in Saddle Lake. It's going on for 3 years now. And we've learned Excel, Word and PowerPoint. And I really, My name is Cecile Cardinal. I'm from Saddle Lake also and I was here for two years.
Cecil : Hi. I learned a Word, Excel, PowerPoint. I learned how to use computer programs, and I use this computer knowledge for my work and my personal use. With the PowerPoint, our final presentation was my family. I focused on photos, stories, and we made it into a calendar. We shared a lot of our life experiences and photos with my classmate and my instructor. And what I found at the end was I found people in some of my pictures who I did not even know.
Janet: I just want to say that I do enjoy attending classes. And it has fulfilled my interest and confidence in learning new computer skills and it goes to say we're never too old to learn new skills. Hiy hiy.
