In what ways did Clientmind support your recruiting efforts?
PJ Bellomo: Hi, this is PJ. I'm the CEO at a startup called Piston. it's probably important to know that I really went from big companies to start-up companies about 25 years ago, and I guess it was 15 years ago when I moved the startup to Frederick, Maryland that I first encountered the team at ClientMind Recruiting and what we were looking for was an in-house recruiting person, but because we really cared about culture and getting the right fit, and hey, we didn't want to pay the high recruiting fees that you often pay when you're basically paying a commission based on the salary, but what we really wanted was an in-house recruiter. So essentially what ClientMind Recruiting became for us was we kind of outsourced an in-house recruiter or maybe today they might refer to it as a fractional recruiter, and they came in, they understood what our culture was like, what we needed, and they did a great job kind of recruiting as if they worked for for our startup and you know, after that I've, I've used them several times after that, you know, my career has moved on to a couple of other startups and you know, I always turn to ClientMind
What results did you get from working with Clientmind?
PJ Bellomo: It's probably obvious when it comes to results, but we got great people, you know, great people you know the whole "A player" thing I, I think kind of gets overused. So let me just say, we needed a particular fit and ClientMind Recruiting delivered. Probably what is really important to understand is that we actually use ClientMind Recruiting across functional areas, so finance people, sales people, technology people we you know, we landed a couple great engineers to this day. I, you know, work with those guys again. I remember one of the people on the finance side was like an accounts payable person. So I mean, listen, this person's deciding whether or not we should cut a check to somebody and you really need to be able to trust trust that type of person. And irrespective of what the functional area was, these guys just did a great job. Hey, listen, did we go back and take a look? like what would we have paid? If we had paid a commission versus, you know, ClientMind Recruiting and what what their model ended up being, and what I would say is we paid about, you know, 40% of what we would have paid. So we had a 60% savings consistently on average. So, you know, that's fabulous. I'd always like to save 60%, but it's, you know, it's not saving if you don't get the right fit. And so, hey, we got great people and we got them at a good price.
Would you recommend Clientmind to another company?
PJ Bellomo: The question of whether or not I would recommend ClientMind Recruiting is easy simply because I've already recommended them. I'm a CEO who's done startups as I've said, and I'm part of this network called Mindshare, and I know at this point Mindshare has brought in over 1000 startup CEOs into the network and I've, you know, I've recommended it to several folks in the Mindshare network. So yes, I would recommend them. I already have recommended them and You know, maybe there's some organization where they're not a fit. I, I just don't know. I just don't know what that would be. So, Listen, I think ClientMind Recruiting, if you're watching this video, they could probably help you in a way that will make lasting impact your business.
