Speaker: John Triantafyllidis, Marketing & Communications Manager, QS
Please introduce yourself, including your name, title and company.
John Triantafyllidis: Hey, my name is John and I'm a marketing and communications manager at us.
How are you using ClickUp today? Any workflows that you've built that your super excited about?
John Triantafyllidis: So we're using click up uh for uh marketing purposes, mainly uh one workload that I'm really, really excited about is uh the one that uh we have implemented last week and this is uh related to a submission form. Uh So basically, when somebody submits a new request, uh let say for an email to go out on a specific time frame, uh we uh are requesting them to submit a couple of required fields and as soon as we have everything uh there, uh and automation is being created uh with the trigger. Uh and where myself is being added as uh as a water. And that task has been assigned to specific people to uh to make sure they review the task. Uh They review the email campaign and they're gonna schedule it through hotspot. This is really, really cool because it automatically let us track how many campaigns do we have in the pipeline. But also uh it provides uh real time updates uh for anyone, for anyone that wants to track the progress of this campaign uh in a very, very friendly and easy way to understand.
What platform did you switch from to ClickUp and why?
John Triantafyllidis: So we were using re uh as our main project management tool before we switched to click up. Uh However, we did have a couple of difficulties in terms of uh creating new requests uh from our clients, but also from some internal teams. Uh and also being able to track and monitor the campaigns that we were having in the pipeline. Uh So our transition to clear it up was really uh really, really smooth. Uh We got a lot of uh training and onboarding material that really helped us, you know, navigate through this migration and it really allowed us to be able to manage those campaigns in a much more efficient way. Uh And now, uh we're also uh adding more stuff into this such as automation uh and some uh third party integrations that's really gonna allow us to elevate our campaigns uh and make the most out of this platform.
What is your favorite ClickUp feature? Why?
John Triantafyllidis: My favorite click up feature is dashboards. Uh because you can see uh in one single view, uh everything that really matters to you. Uh But you can also customize to be able to reflect upon new changes, new assignee s uh or new teams uh that might get involved into a project. Uh And also being able to get uh some really good insights that can form your strategy and therefore you can make uh changes uh as you see fit.
What are your top ClickUp tips, hacks, or pieces of advice for others?
John Triantafyllidis: I think uh the best advice on using click up would be to take the appropriate time to familiarize yourself and perhaps your team uh with uh with a tool with everything that you can do on click up. Uh And also spending a lot of time on the resources, I think click up has uh a wide range of training resources that uh you can get for free. So you can understand uh what's uh what is possible and what you can change to fit your uh business needs. So I would say spending a lot of time on training and learning about the software is really, really important. Uh And after this, I think uh it's uh it's all about the practice of using this. So uh the more time you spend with the tool, the more you can understand how to use it. Uh And I guess uh sharing your learning uh with your team and as well as with other uh individuals uh is really, really important to get you up to speed with all the new updates, the new features. Uh But all of the new possibilities uh that uh would probably be relevant to you. So I would suggest spending a lot of time with your peers to always improve, learn and making the best out of this.
