What was your situation before you enrolled — how did it feel and what made you decide to enroll in debt settlement?
Emmanuella: Hi, my name is Emmanuela, and I'm from the Washington DC area. I joined Clear One Advantage because I was at a point where I was feeling stuck financially. I found myself in a vicious cycle of taking out loans to pay off loans, and I wanted to get out of that and I was creeping up, upwards of over $45,000 in debt and just decided that I had had enough. I was feeling stuck financially, and I was feeling like, It was impacting, other areas of other parts of my life, as well. and I wanted to enroll in debt settlement so that I could, gain my life back financially and be able to take on, more things that I haven't been able to do as a result of the, overwhelming amount of debt that I had, accrued.
What was the debt relief program experience like for you — what results did you get and how did you feel when it was completed?
Emmanuella: the debt relief program experience was, actually, relieving for me. I really appreciated the consolidated, monthly payments that I was able to make. I really appreciated how quickly, settlements were made on my behalf, in order to take on my debt, and, I really appreciated how supportive, ClearOne Advantage was in making sure that I was successful in getting through this journey. And with their support, I was able to pay off my, settled debt, 2 years ahead of schedule, which is absolutely amazing. And so, I am so excited, that I am so much closer to being debt-free.
What would you tell someone who’s thinking about enrolling in a debt settlement program?
Emmanuella: The first thing I would tell someone who's thinking about enrolling in a debt settlement program is to recognize that this is, do not consider yourself a failure for taking on this option towards being debt-free. that was something that I had to tell myself in order to feel comfortable with taking on a debt settlement program. and once I got over that, feeling of, you know, feeling like I was a failure and feeling like I wasn't deserving of support, it became so much easier for me to take on, a debt settlement program. I also would tell someone that, This would, this is a great option if you do find yourself drowning in debt and not able to make multiple separate payments towards your debt, the debt settlement program, was, an easy, an easy option, to get me towards my, my goal of being debt-free and, And also recognizing that, you know, folks are there to help you, and be supportive in, in every step of the way. And so, don't think that, you know, folks are judging you or, you know, feel any kind of way about, you know, your situation, You know, the representatives, you know, were very, again, very supportive and encouraging, of my journey and, and looked out for me in every way possible to ensure that I got to, to my end goal.
