Madelyn Valenzuela: Hello there. My name is Madeline Valenzuela and I'm the founder of Parodies of Skin. I joined the Clean Beauty Accelerator Program because when I first entered the beauty space, I did not even realize the half of how ugly and scary and vast it is. And I felt this immense responsibility to deliver the best of the best, high quality um products. And as someone who values their time very much, um it was taking me so long to Google and youtube and search the internet for all the answers I needed on how to go about this the right way. And as far as you know, vetting suppliers and ingredients and manufacturers and just all the little things I, I was, yeah, about to quit. And during my first meeting with Amy by the end of it, I was just in tears. I will admit I was, I was crying because she had all of the right answers. And, um, it just felt like such a strong connection and I knew that I had found just what I was looking for in Amy. I'm getting serious again.
Madelyn Valenzuela: Working with Amy has helped me make decisions so much faster. I move with more confidence because I know I have a resource and a confidant and an accountability partner and you don't feel so alone. So it's just an all around amazing feeling just to have somebody there for you in, in this very special way.
Madelyn Valenzuela: My personal favorite thing about the program is the weekly data trackers. Um It's just a great accountability practice every week. Um It allows you to let Amy know what you did. It allows you to keep your progress moving in a forward motion and also allows you to reflect on all of um the progress that you've made towards your goals. Um I think as entrepreneurs, especially starting out in the beginning stages of business, we don't give ourselves enough grace, you know, we always think we didn't do enough. Um And I feel like that every single week until I fill out this data tracker and then I can really just kind of calm my nervous system and say, hey, I did XYZ, that's great. And that's kind of all I can do this week. I'm gonna plan to do ABC next week and that's my favorite. Um It's just a really good feeling and as far as exceeding my expectations, I will say all of the videos that Amy has in her vault for the Queen Beauty program are so helpful and you know, if you're looking for answers on something, you can just, you know, she probably has a video on it. So yeah, it's just everything is just exceeding my expectation.
Madelyn Valenzuela: Before the accelerator program, I was pretty much a hot mess as far as super anxious about all the things and how am I going to do this? And am I doing it the right way? And are people going to like this product? Um Does it fit all the standards that it needs to be, to be considered clean, beauty, all the things and now we are prepping for launch. I feel a lot more confident. My vision is more clear and defined and I see the light. Um and it's a really good feeling.
