Lauren Coe: My name is Lauren Co, I am the owner of Grace and Ray Skin Care and we have been a skincare company since April back in April though, at the same time, actually a few weeks in, I found Amy and her Clean Beauty Accelerator program. And that's when I knew I needed help as soon as possible. When I launched Grace and Array, the success and the growth that has happened in the first few weeks was something that I cannot do by myself. And I knew I needed insight and really just guidance in how I can find the most success for Grace and Ray and Amy is exactly that she has helped with formulation. She has helped with branding and the label website design with her team and it truly has been one of the most amazing experiences ever. And I'm so lucky to have found her in the social media world and to have her time and professionalism to really help race and Ray grow and be part of the clean beauty industry and really make a stance in what we believe in.
Lauren Coe: When I first got on a call with Amy, the number one thing I told her was the success that Grace and Ray has found is something that I cannot do by myself. And that is not something that a lot of entrepreneurs can say. I have been very lucky to find found great success due to my background as an aesthetician and really teaching in the social media world about skin care and skin health. With that being said, when we launched back in April, I could not do it all myself. I was doing the creation, the social media, everything behind the scenes, the distribution, you name it. And I was in over my head and I knew that if I did not find help, I wouldn't be able to grow the company in the way that I truly envision it to be. And that is exactly what the accelerator program and Amy has helped me with. She has really offered guidance structure, really has helped me uncover the true beauty behind Grace and Ray and my passion and has really given me confidence in knowing that this is the right direction for me and that what I offer with Grace and Ray is something truly special and she has helped me find guidance in formulation and really has given me amazing recommendations for ingredients, labeling connections, you name it. And I would not be where I am today without her knowledge and her input and truly allowing Grace and Ray to blossom and believe in it as much as I do.
Lauren Coe: What's funny is that my favorite thing is the number one thing that I struggled with in the beginning. I absolutely love formulation. It is something that I have found so much obsession with and being able to create the products from ground up, creating the product briefs to the formulas, the percentages, all the research that it takes to really find unique ingredients that work together with the end result that you want. And that has been my favorite of the accelerator program because when I first started Gray and Ray, I was really just experimenting and I created a product that was from my knowledge, what was good and it is a really good product. But Amy really helped me level it up even more. And even with our next products that we are launching with Grace and Ray, she has taken her time to go with me on the product briefs to really um offer her expertise in ingredients and fragrance and has really allowed me to feel confident in creating these formulas and these product briefs. And that is my absolute favorite. If I could create multiple products every single month, I totally would. But that is truly something special that I look forward to doing every single time, but also feeling confident with from the accelerator program and having the professionalism of it.
Lauren Coe: Truthfully just like any new company, any new entrepreneur you go in without really knowing much. Obviously, the more time you put in and the research that you do, you become more and more confident. Now before the Accelerator program, I was, I was overwhelmed and very more in the what if I fail? Like what if I cannot do this? What if it all fails? I don't know my next step and it was, it was making me hit a wall and that was something that I knew I had to get out of if I was able to find success with Grayson Ray. Now, after the Accelerator program, this has been something so eye opening. Yes, I still do not know everything and there's still so much to learn out there. But because of the accelerator program, I am much more confident in those steps in how things work and truly the bones of owning a skin care company and what goes on behind the scenes. And so that is what I'm so thankful for from the Accelerator program because it has allowed me to feel confident in the steps that I'm making the connections that have been created and knowing how to successfully bring a skincare business up and continue to bring it up from here on out.
