Speaker: Jessica Nunke, Radiologic Technologist, Ohio Health

Jessica Nunke: Hi, my name is Jessie, and I'm a 41-year-old stay at home mom with two kids and a husband that works long hours, and the decision for me to go back to school and advance my career in radiologic technology was really tough for my family. Thanks to Clasp and Ohio Health, I feel very set up and ready for this next chapter in life.

What excites you most about this program?

Jessica Nunke: I haven't even started classes yet and I've already made contact with a recruiter for one of the top employers in my area. That's giving me, confidence of securing a job very quickly after graduation.

What would your journey have looked like without this program?

Jessica Nunke: I would have had a lot more concerns about how much financial aid I was taking out and the long term commitment to those student loans, and just my family's financial security while I was in school It would be a more stressful situation. Whereas now I can just focus on my schooling.

What would you say to future students who are considering applying to a program like this?

Jessica Nunke: Do it. Best decision I've ever made. It was so simple. You have nothing to lose. And like I said, I'm already in touch with the recruiter for a top employer in my area, and that peace of mind alone is worth the 5 minutes it took me to fill out the application.
