Speaker: Michael Christensen, Christensen Chiropractic Clinic, P.C.
Michael Christensen: Hi, my name is Mike Christensen. I've been a practicing chiropractor for 31 years now, at multiple clinics. This will be our 3rd type of EHR we've used and by far the happiest we've ever been. We chose Chiro Up simply because for the first time, I felt like we actually had a software that thought like a clinician thought and helped us get through a patient visit in the same order and thought process that we were using already without having to go back and and basically reinvent the software ourselves.
What’s the biggest “win” you’ve seen in your practice since switching to ChiroUp EHR?
Michael Christensen: For me, the biggest win we've had since switching to Chiro Up is pretty obvious. I don't come into the office to do paperwork on the weekends anymore. One of the reasons I switched to Chiro Up honestly was to be able to access it from anywhere so that I could catch up on paperwork without having to come into the clinic setting. But to be honest, it just hasn't been a necessary situation. Paperwork's done by the time I leave at the end of the day, and I feel like I'm on top of things better than I have been in 30 years.
What would you say to a chiropractor who’s on the fence about switching to ChiroUp’s EHR?
Michael Christensen: What I would say to a doctor who is on the fence about switching to Chiro Up is that I get it. Having been through this process before, it is always a bit of a struggle. New building, new software, getting staff on board, you know, getting, getting everything working the way that you would want it to work in your clinic and getting it set up. What I can tell you is for the first time ever this software was actually functionable out of the box. It didn't take months and months of learning. It didn't take months and months of setting up your own macros and basically designing the software to do what you want to do. It was ready to run. The other thing is, if you're worried about support, literally for the first time I've got a support system that I can call, make suggestions to, and you actually see activity done to create the product in a way that is more functional for your office. So if you're sitting on the fence, sit down with one of the salesmen, ask all the questions you have, and you can believe that you're going to get exactly what they're telling you you're going to get.
