What problem was your company dealing with before Charter Impact?
Charles Mausser: I'm Charles Mausser. I'm with Empowering Excellence Charter School. As far as the problem, our school was, working through prior to dealing with Charter Impact, 2024 to 2025 was our first year in existence as a charter school, and, We do not have a like a charter management company behind us, so the team and the board that we have here at Empowering Excellence is the founding group and so Charter Impact was A lifesaver in so many ways because while we were working through the details of having the operational side and the state reporting side and the HR side and all those different things taken care of Charter Impact streamlined were just a breath of fresh air of support helping us move to next steps, prioritize our next steps and just helped us also to realize that Help us not be underwater by those things so that we keep our focus on kids.
How did Charter Impact help resolve this challenge?
Charles Mausser: Outstanding exemplary, unprecedented. customer support, From a whole team of people, You know, we have our representative that we work with mostly now at this point in time, but in that onboarding process. You know, anywhere from 3 to 5 people were in our weekly meeting and everyone we met at the different training videos or training meetings that we have, it was like I was walking next door to meet my neighbor and work together in a collaborative, supportive, conversational way where. Everyone was heard and seen but also we created really highly effective and efficient outcomes they're a mission driven company that is based on people they have the expertise and the knowledge to execute on on what they why they exist and and and their purpose, but ultimately they're about people and about kids and helping schools and educators that partner with them to make a difference in kids' lives.
What results did you get with Charter Impact?
Charles Mausser: As far as what results, you know, we have our Inova, we have our, we have our dashboard through Inova, which handles all, you know, this is where all our payroll tax information for our staff. It has our accruals, it has how we request leave for employees that it's relevant to. They have a time clock, that whole dashboard is completely user friendly, And also, you know, Inova and Charter Impact were with us hand in hand and um having it created because it's customized to us. We don't have a lot of specifics, but it isn't a default thing. It was completely customized and built the way we needed it to be, and. All of the state reporting, whether it has to do with the, you know, Department of Revenue. State taxes, etc. etc. all these um different things, all of that stuff is effective. Our school board policies are in place and clear and concise and connected to, you know, what is considered best practice, The outcomes we created on our operational and internal policies and procedures are far better than we could have dreamed of directly because of the collaborative and successful uh partnership we've had with Charter Impact we were very proud of what we had created and Charter Impact just amplified our preexisting efforts to be a very successful business and and school so that we can keep our focus on on kids.
