Speaker: Lareen Schmitt, Sr. Application Support Analyst
How would you describe a typical day in your job?
Lareen Schmitt: A typical day begins with processing our team's ticket queue for any updates, and while we certainly ensure applications run optimally, any day can present unforeseen challenges to provide our customers with the support they require. Absent of anything in my queue for assisting a customer, I refer to my to do list to tackle the next project I have for improvement.
My job is unique because...
Lareen Schmitt: My job is unique because we encounter new opportunities to utilize my particular set of technical skills for the best customer outcomes and my personal accomplishment, from database analysis to automated scripting, to my uncanny knack for uncovering bugs, I appreciate the chance I'm afforded to grow and offer my perspective. The genuine company culture of family and patient care makes working at CereCore distinct from others.
Tell us something interesting about you personally. How do you spend your free time? Do you have a hobby? Are you learning anything new?
Lareen Schmitt: Outside of work hours, I enjoy bowling in leagues with my husband and friends. And while I've been a dog and bunny mama for years, I'm new to learning feline needs and behavior fostering a litter of kitties.
Lareen Schmitt: I am the link to life saving care because I help caregivers get the correct supplies to patients on time.
Lareen Schmitt: I am a link.
