Speaker: Jillian Whitefield, Business Development Manager
How would you describe a typical day in your job?
Jillian Whitefield: A typical day for me tends to look like a lot of outreach for potential new clients and customers. So whether that's over LinkedIn or a phone call, email in person networking events, it really varies. But my goal with that outreach is to not only promote CereCore's name, but also to foster that awareness for potential new clients of the meaningful work that we can provide them. And then, in addition to that, I'm also maintaining communication to those individuals that maybe are aware of us. but working on staying top of mind for those people when a new opportunity does arise.
My job is unique because...
Jillian Whitefield: My job is unique because it's actually a new position on the sales team, so we are currently building out the business development practice. I'm loving it because I get to be kind of a catalyst for not only new conversations and new business, new opportunities, but I also get to really make others aware of all the different ways that we can help and provide a service for them.
Tell us something interesting about you personally. How do you spend your free time? Do you have a hobby? Are you learning anything new?
Jillian Whitefield: When I'm not working a couple of things that I love to do in my personal time, I love a good book fiction or nonfiction. and then I do love to run as well, so I'll run a couple of different trails around where I live, and then also I went back to school in 2020 and completed my master's degree, finished that in 2021 I got a master of management
