Jessica Zayakosky: Hi, I'm Jessica Zayakosky and I am one of the managers on the L1 Service Desk and I've been with CereCore going on almost two years now.
Describe the organization or non-profit you support and volunteer for.
Jessica Zayakosky: Here, on the L1 service desk, we have created an employee engagement committee that is committed to giving back and that means L1, CereCore as a whole, and our Nashville community. So, we are looking to support all organizations within this greater Nashville area.
How did you discover your passion for this charity/ non-profit/ volunteering opportunity? What made you turn your passion into action?
Jessica Zayakosky: What helped me discover my passion for nonprofit and charity. When I was 17, my best friend's little sister was killed in a car accident and they participated in organ and tissue donation. And it really opened our eyes to that self sacrifice at the worst time of your life. And so, throughout my career, I've worked with a lot of not for profits in the transplant arena. And it's really fueled me into wanting to give back to different charities, volunteering, helping those who cannot help themselves.
Jessica Zayakosky: I am a link to life-saving care because I help lead a team of individuals who truly care about helping people.
