Speaker: Emily Scott, Business Development Representative

Emily Scott: Hi, I'm Emily Scott. I am on the business development team at CereCore and I am a business development representative there.

How have you grown in your career since working at CereCore?

Emily Scott: I have seen tremendous growth in my career since starting at CereCore just a few months ago. I have seen myself become more confident and certain of the value of the work I'm doing. And that has come first and foremost by my incredibly encouraging team. I feel really blessed to have colleagues in leadership that really want me to succeed and who are willing to help me reach my goals and exceed them. And then the result of that support has been individual wins and just a deeper knowledge of the services we are offering to our clients. I have seen feedback from our customers and understand how important our help is to them and how it can drastically affect their day to day tasks. So, I have been able to leverage those stories and instances into greater individual successes and ultimately further my career growth.

Describe a rewarding moment in your career at CereCore.

Emily Scott: There have actually been several moments where I felt very rewarded through my work at CereCore. Those have included team wins and getting to be a part of celebrations. Or for me personally, I feel rewarded when I see the needle moving with certain prospects or accounts that I have spent a lot of time in when I have been reaching out to contacts over and over and can't seem to make any progress when the needle finally starts to move. And I see those initial calls turn into follow ups, then opportunities, and then potential for closed business. I certainly feel validated in my efforts and those moments keep me motivated.

Emily Scott: We are the link to life saving care because we listen, our approach to obtaining new business or making a sale is not traditional or transactional. We are genuinely trying to understand a need or a pain point and offer our services as a way to make people's jobs and lives easier. This all starts with listening.
