Speaker: Daniel Eyre, Vice President of Business Development for CereCore International
I work in healthcare IT because...
Daniel Eyre: Hi, I'm Daniel Eyre. I'm the VP for Business Development here at CereCore International. I think I've grown in my role at CereCore since I've been here about seven months. I think that getting an understanding of the private medical industry over in the States and how that relates to the UK has really been a building block for me to enhance my knowledge, to get a better understanding of how the private sector can work with the public sector here in the UK. I think that leads me to one of the most rewarding moments, you know, which is, has been quite recent we're currently working with the Liverpool Women's Hospital and they're going live in in the coming week and the feedback that we've had around the quality of our staff, the experience of our staff has really made me feel proud that we can add value and really enhances the reason why we've expanded into the international space. I think one of the things I'm really proud about with working for CereCore is the fact that especially within the NHS and that being free at the point of care that there's a very, very big focus on patient quality and patient outcomes. Which really drives people's passions to work in this industry rather than be part of something that is more profit led. And I think that really makes me feel attached to the company, that we really look at the patient, we really understand that at the end of it, the patient is what we want to enhance the service for. Rather than looking at a profit led organization. We are very much an operational led organization and I'm really proud of being part of that.
