Speaker: Dan Hentschke
Dan Hentschke: Hey, how are you? Um, so you wanna know what hemp products I use and why? Um, I use all hemp products. I use hemp products for skin care. I use hemp products for stress, for anxiety, for sleep. Um, and products work for just about any, you know, medical need that you may have. They don't cost for insurance, they don't cost much really at all, because it's a naturally occurring product from planet Earth that everyone, and I mean everyone should have access to. And um You know, I, I use it for pain. And You know, really just working out, um, it's good for joints. It's very good for. I mean, really anything in the body, there's an endocannabinoid system that we have that literally accepts. Uh, CBD and CBN and all of these. You know, different cannabinoids that are used throughout the body, and I don't know what I would do without him at this point, so. Hopefully, uh, we can get this legislation passed and you guys can kind of wake up and see that all of these hemp products are safe. Now, they do need to be a little bit regulated and that's fine. We're asking for regulation. But, you know, we would really appreciate if hemp products were still on the shelves after November.
Dan Hentschke: So, prior to hemp products, I was using just regular skincare, average Walmart lotions, things like that. Uh, that didn't really work, they don't really absorb, uh, didn't seem to work too well at all. And a lot of times for pain, I was using Advil, Tylenol, You name it, something off the shelves that pharmaceutical companies make and produce and make a ton of money off of, and they just didn't really work. And after a while, you know, you, um, just seem to use them to excess and they really just don't work at all. So, hemp products generally stand the test of time. Everything that I've tried and has worked, continues to work, and works flawlessly.
Dan Hentschke: Daily life would change dramatically without hemp products. I would have to go back to buying over the counter pain medicines and supplements and things like that, that really just typically don't work and are very expensive, and I know that I would probably have to use more insurance, which is gonna cost everyone in the country more money. Which just doesn't make sense. Um, if hemp products get banned, you know, anytime for any reason. There's going to be excessive amounts of, you know, People going out and using more painkillers and products that really just don't work. For no apparent reason. There's no need to have to go back to any of these things. We should be able to use whatever hemp products we want, whenever we want and have full access to them at any time. They're less expensive, they're um, It worked better, and We need them, so please don't take them away.
Dan Hentschke: So, I have a lot to say to legislators in Raleigh that would be pushing for a ban of hemp products. Um, it just doesn't make sense. A lot of your constituents are using hemp products every single day of their lives. I know that a lot of your People in office, probably sitting next to you or across the aisle are using hemp products also, and it just doesn't make sense to try and take them away. Also, you know, when the Farm Bill was created in 2018, and opened up a wide door to all of these products, an array of products that people use every single day. Even on children because they're safe and effective, and now they're gonna have to go and find more unhealthy alternatives that are costly, that cost through insurance and It really just doesn't make sense. Um, if I was talking to anybody in Raleigh, I would beg them to, if nothing else, try a hemp product, experience it, see what you think, or ask your grandma or your kids or their kids, you know, what they think of hemp products that they're using because I think a lot more people are using hemp products than what anyone in Raleigh realizes at this point. And if we're to try and take them away or ban them, it just doesn't make sense. It's less costly to North Carolinians, it's less costly to insurance companies, it's less costly to the US and You know, we need to just continue making these products and putting these products on the shelves. If they need to be regulated a little bit more, that's fine. We have asked multitudes of times for a little bit more regulation. If you want to make hemp, you know, only available to 21 and up, no problem. Um, that's no issue at all, and I feel like people would be glad to comply with packaging and Not, you know, advertising to children. I mean, none of us are trying to do any of that. None of these products should be banned. None of these products are bad. Uh, you know, cigarettes were one of North Carolina's largest products for a long time, and they literally killed people. They caused tons and tons of cancer. And hemp products just don't do that, and they also help cancer patients to, you know, actually get an appetite when they're going through chemotherapy and all these other terrible things that cancer has caused. So, anybody that's in Raleigh that's seeing this video, I hope that you wake up and you do not ban these products, and you know that there is a lot of North Carolinians that not only rely on hemp products for themselves and for their health, but also for their employment, and they are your constituents, and eventually, you're going to push a lot of these constituents away from you, and they're not going to vote for you anymore, and you won't be sitting in those seats for much longer if you don't try and push these products through to be legal as they should be.
Dan Hentschke: It matters to me probably more than most. I own one of the largest hemp companies in North Carolina. I employ about 60 people, all of them who rely on me for a job and rely on this plant and these products to continue employment and keep a job. A lot of these people are your constituents in here in North Carolina, um, you know, like I said in one of my prior videos. Your constituents need hemp products, they need jobs, and the economy is garbage right now. It's not good. It's not getting any better. And if we try to remove hemp products in North Carolina, the economy here is just going to go to shambles, and that doesn't make sense. Let's try to regulate hemp and let's get it right, and we'll, we're more than willing to work with you on whatever you guys want to do to regulate and maintain these products and keep them on the shelves. But hemp is very important. It's very healthy, and it's keeping a lot of people going and keeping them sane from stress and anxiety and all of the work-related things that they're doing to keep North Carolina going and pay taxes here in this state. So, I beg of you to please continue and allow hemp to be carried and sold in North Carolina, specifically. Even if the rest of the country decides to ban hemp, North Carolinians need it more than ever.
