Arwen Becker: One of the things that I find most appealing and compelling about listening to Cathy talk is the fact that she is not only very educated in the area of elder law and caregiving, but she uses humor In such a tough subject to talk about and she makes it approachable because this is something that nearly all of us are going to have to deal with at some point in our life. Actually, the same day in February 2021, both my parents were diagnosed with cancer and that led my mom too getting treatment and unfortunately put my dad into um an adult family home and so that came rushing into my world and now I needed to do a lot of things for other people. And Cathy really takes such an amazing approach with her background, her experience and her education to be able to make these conversations occur. And more importantly, to prepare caregivers the best that she can to know exactly what they should be doing um when they are facing that time period in life or at least to be able to ask the right questions and to know that they are not alone

Arwen Becker: I would recommend Cathy because she is talking about a subject most of us need to hear about and most of us aren't talking about. And so she is going to be able to first bring awareness for all of us to understand that caregiving is likely going to be a part of your life at some point. And what are the tools and the appropriate things that we need to do to be prepared when that time comes. Sometimes it's very obvious it's on the horizon. Sometimes it comes instantaneously and we're not able to prepare for it. But she has the tools and the education and the direction and the techniques and the humor to be able to give your individuals in your company, the tools that they need to know how to address this issue in their own personal life, or at least be able to be a support to other people that they love who are in a caregiving role at this time in life.

Arwen Becker: Cathy's content is so important because at some point nearly all of us are going to be in a caregiving role or we're going to have somebody very close to us that is and so we need to understand what are some of the pitfalls, what are some of the typical things that people go through as they are in a caregiving role and to find support and know that they are not crazy because they are dealing with emotions and difficulties that come up when you're in a role of caring for somebody that you love and cherish. Yet it's putting stress on you physically, It's putting mental emotional stress on you. It's putting financial stress stress on your family and there's a lot of different components and Cathy strips down so many of those in such a beautiful and funny way to make them accessible and understandable and really be able to peel back the layers of understanding to know how to best approach that moment in time that season of life where you or somebody you love or in a caregiving role
