Pablo Menendez: My name is Pablo. I live here in Miami, Florida and I've been impacted by the high rise in the Florida electrical bill. It is absolutely ridiculous. I live here in Florida. I've been living here for several years and I have never in my life seen this high increase. It is higher than the national average companies like FPL are taking advantage of the community. It is absolutely insane and how everything has gotten more expensive from uh insurance bills, the grocery store, gas prices are going insane. Rent is going up and it keeps going up and there is no regulation to stop this. I'm calling out these companies including FPL that have raised the prices for electrical bills for so long and it doesn't seem like it's about to stop it. It's just taking advantage of regular people like myself and I know there's people out there that feel the same way. So I'm calling out FPL, I urge my friends, family, everyone, neighbors, acquaintances, coworkers to talk to your representatives speak out because if not, these people will keep doing this. They will take advantage of our hard earned money and it's just gonna get worse. We have to do something about it.
What do you want to say to the utility corporations and Florida’s politicians who are responsible?
Pablo Menendez: I urge our representatives in the House and the Senate to please do something about this because it is absolutely insane. It is a waste of our money to go to these companies. We are not getting the service that we want, especially in a state that's uh affected by climate change, including the disastrous hurricanes that we suffer every single year. So why is it that we're paying so much money for these high rates of electrical bill and we're not getting the service that we deserve. So I'm calling out these companies including FPL to do something about it. I'm calling our representatives to put pressure on these companies and not take advantage of our hard earned money and make sure that Floridians are getting the treatment that they deserve.
