Jersey S.: I'm in 12th grade and I was born and raised in the Philippines, but now I'm here in Canada.

Augusta I.: My name is Augusta I. and I am from Denver, Colorado.

Nyla B.: I am a senior in high school and I'm from Georgia, but right now I live in Virginia.

Yusuf A.: My name is Yusuf A, I'm from Kano State in Nigeria.

Shinah K.: My name is Shinah K. and I'm an 11th grader. I came to the United States when I was 10 years old from Uganda.

Augusta I.: Currently, in my career journey, I am about to start my first professional position post graduation, so I'm pretty excited about that. I am studying for the GRE in hopes to attend grad school in the next couple of years. attend grad school in the next couple of years.

Jersey S.: My career plan is to hopefully become a graphic designer one day.

Nyla B.: CareerVillage changed my career plans because now I'm like, Well, am I really sure I want to go computer science? Or do I want to go with something like information technology? want to go with something like information technology?

Augusta I.: Because I didn't have a lot of people in my inner circle who had already went to college. And so I needed more people, more information and just kind of more viewpoints so that I feel like I could make a more informed decision. I feel like I could make a more informed decision.

Shinah K.: Talking to teachers or counselors about, career help or classes I should be taking or really just any questions that I might have had, was pretty difficult for me because I was super shy. So when I discovered CareerVillage, I was so surprised that this was there for me, like it's free, and I'm able to use it any time that I might have any questions. use it any time that I might have any questions.

Jersey S.: With CareerVillage, you get all of your career questions answered here from actual real world professionals.

Nyla B.: I would recommend CareerVillage to other people just because as teenagers asking questions about our career, we don't usually— it depends where you go— but we usually don't have somebody to talk to, and sometimes the people that you talk to, you're not sure if they're the correct person to ask that question.

Augusta I.: CareerVillage empowered me to embrace opportunities and to continue pursuing my interests.

Shinah K.: Amazing, amazing website because you get actual feedback from, a person who actually knows what they're talking about and cares enough to respond to you talking about and cares enough to respond to you
