Nyla: I am a Senior in high school and I'm from Georgia, but right now I live in Virginia.

Nyla: Having a resource like CareerVillage is like a feeling of safety. Having a resource like CareerVillage is like a feeling of safety. Like it's all right now. Because sometimes, the questions I have, I have no one to ask and it causes anxiety a little bit because I'm like, What do I do? Where do I go now? But having CareerVillage, I can ask that question, get my answer, and I can know where to go next. Just know where... what I should be thinking of next.

Nyla: So I've been stuck on, like, three different degrees. They're all in technology because that's one of my interests. And, I couldn't... I was really putting computer science high on my list as something I want to pursue, but I wanted to know the pros and cons and what I was getting into. So that was the question I asked CareerVillage and CareerVillage changed my career plan because now I'm like, well... am I really sure I want to go computer science or do I want to go with something like information technology? want to go with something like information technology?

Nyla: I would recommend CareerVillage to other people just because as teenagers, asking questions about our career, we don't usually... it depends where you go, but we usually don't have somebody to talk to, and sometimes the people that you talk to, you're not sure if they're the correct person to ask that question. So just going to CareerVillage and getting that question [answered], you can be sure that it's the correct people, the right people answering your questions.
