Why did you become a Concierge Mortgage Banker with Capital Federal Credit Union?
Guy Allen: I became a concierge mortgage banker because I wanted to be able to service my clients all around the country without um, uh, losing control of those clients and, um, keeping track of what it is that's going on with my files. My, my clients go from California to New York all the way down to Florida. I'm based in Virginia, so I wanna be able to have a good person that I know that can handle that client. This gives me that opportunity to do that with my referrals.
How important is it today for real estate to add more value to their client relationships as a mortgage banker?
Guy Allen: It's very important that I provide a full range of services for my clients because, you know, my clients really depend on me to advise them on the right way and the right things to do with um their first purchase or resale or investment properties. They wanna be able to talk to a person that's an expert in the field and being able to control the finance piece of this uh process is, is important to me. That's why I am a concierge mortgage banker.
As a Concierge Mortgage Banker, can you help your past clients refinance their homes and obtain consumer loans?
Guy Allen: My clients are always asking me about uh refinancing their mortgage over the years. I've had to refer them out, never got anything back for it other than a request for another loan for a new purchase here. And now I'm able to monetize that whole piece, help my clients get the best deal for themselves and make it a win, win situation for them. So I've got re refinances right now, especially with the interest rates. Um dropping, I'm gonna put those in my pipeline immediately.

Guy Allen: One of the reasons I feel like you should use or become a concierge mortgage banker with capital federal mortgage credit union. And one of the reasons why I do it is that, um, it gives me an opportunity to touch my clients and stay in touch with them and give them an opportunity to seek some additional financial opportunities, either to pull equity out of their house or their property or buy investment properties and stay in touch with them after the sale because normally, you know, I don't hear from them again for another 3 to 5 years. Just a way to stay in touch with them and their kids and not only be known as a sales person, but the person that provides the money to, to do all these things that they need to do.
