What’s your favourite part about studying with Access Courses Online?

Clara Ashing: I would say that my favourite part of studying with access courses online would be the flexibility that it gives you. I can either join in when the live lessons are happening and enter into the discussions with other students and ask questions of my own to the teacher. Or I can watch it recorded and pause it or rewind if I need to listen to something again. So, yeah, I'd say the flexibility that it gives you would be the best part.

What would you tell other students considering Access Courses Online?

Clara Ashing: What would I tell students considering access courses online? Well, the course I took was an art course, and the first thing that really struck me was the range of topics that I was opened up to and also the different types of media that I was encouraged to use throughout and the different ideas. They also encouraged me to come up with. The other thing I tell future students is just the teachers. They're amazing. They're so supportive, they're willing to answer any of your questions and kind of bounce around with ideas that you may have, And so, yeah, they're definitely a really important part of these courses.

Would you recommend Access Courses Online and if so why?

Clara Ashing: I would definitely recommend access courses online. The quality of the teaching and support is really good. The resources span such a range and teams was really easy to use for lessons and chat. But I think most importantly for me, even though it's online and everything, there was still a real sense of community. There was student chats and because I was doing an art course, there were also competitions at different times of year and you would do a piece of art based on maybe like Halloween or Christmas or something. And then sometimes there are also student galleries, so you didn't feel isolated. You could still see other people's work and what they were doing with the same tools that you had been given to, and it was really interesting to see other people's ideas.
