What’s your favourite part about studying with Online College of Art & Design (OCAD)
Ashley Mawson: Hello. My name is Ashley and I am working with OCAD doing my Level 2 art course, which I quite enjoy. Probably my favourite things about doing this art course is the freedom you get when you're doing assignments, which is where you can set your own deadlines and work at your own pace, which I find very helpful. Another thing I enjoy about doing this course is the lessons that we get twice a week. And if you miss a lesson due to an event or just not being there on time, then you can go back and rewatch the video afterwards in the saved files, which I find very helpful. I also enjoy the fact that you can go and ask tutors for help at any time during using the chat, which can help quite a lot if you're stuck on a task or just need some general help. Something else that I find quite enjoyable is the fact that you can go into the files later on and find resources for all of the work you're doing, which I think is very clever, because if you don't have what you need in real life to complete the task, then you can just find what you need in these files
What would you tell other students considering Online College of Art & Design (OCAD)?
Ashley Mawson: If you're considering this course, I'd say Just go for it. It's a very good course. I've learned quite a lot so far. I quite enjoy it because you get a lot of freedom when it comes to your tasks, and you can choose what medium you use for your art using paint ink. Graphite charcoal is very helpful. I think that if you want to do this, this, course, then just go for it. It's very useful, and you got quite a lot of help with what you're doing.
Would you recommend Online College of Art & Design (OCAD) and if so why?
Ashley Mawson: If someone asked me to recommend a course, I would probably tell them to have a look at, because I've quite enjoyed it myself. And I think anybody else who would do it would also enjoy it. Like I said before, the deadlines are very, very helpful, and you can just It's a lot more freeing than a lot of other courses. I have a lot of deadlines, not to mention you got a lot of help, a lot of resources, and it's all around, just fun to do.
