Jade Burnham : We love Cambridge Home School online and it's completely changed our lives. I suppose I should start with the incredible team of teachers. Doctor Page has selected the most incredible loving nurturing caring team of teachers that deliver an impeccable curriculum. This team is fronted by the amazing Mr Boylan who starts the week with these most amazing assemblies that are encouraging and motivational. It really is an incredible role model and inspiration to these students. But honestly, every teacher is amazing at CHS and so so very supportive. We love that CHS has made it possible for us to tailor the curriculum to support our child individually. The flexibility to move up and down in particular lessons is amazing. The classes, the size of the classes and the engagement in the lessons is really worth its weight in gold.

Jade Burnham : Well, we had been talking about home education for years but just never really took the plunge. Bow was at prep school and always did really well, but just never liked being there just was never fully happy in a school environment because he had a really low immune system, there was always so much time spent off of school, being ill and so much school missed. So when the pandemic hit, we had to make sure that Bow was fully protected. And so we started looking for alternative options and we came across the CHS and how lucky we feel for that. We love the idea of home educating and because Bow he is bright, we still wanted a really good education and for Bow to still be a part of the community. So CHS ticked every single box, most importantly, Bow absolutely loved it and began to thrive in this home environment, supported by an amazing school. What was amazing is that the school noticed immediately and began to start nurturing Bow and making sure every lesson was at the right level for both creating an individual timetable. Amazing, I cannot stress how amazing the CHS team are. They really do care and that has a direct result on how the kids respond.

Jade Burnham : Absolutely both flying at CHS, truly loving every day and growing to be an amazing person. Of course, we think our child is amazing. But what's special is that the school support has meant that Bow has been allowed to totally grow into an individual with individual ideas and beliefs. These children are encouraged to think for themselves and not follow others. This creates amazing individuals because of this schooling in general is more exciting and holds a huge responsibility to want to succeed and do well, learning, self-discipline and courage to try hard has dramatically grown in confidence since being nurtured and Bow has thrived academically resulting in now being two years ahead and already sitting two GCSEs Bow will still be 12 when sitting the first two. So academically both doing amazing. But because of the amazing culture of the school has become a huge part of the school community. Growing enough confidence to become junior editor of the school magazine, leading an extra curricular club in encouraging kindness from others, heading lots of workshops and social events and has raised money for charities and encouraged others to join in too. This is an incredible all round little person that has been allowed to explore all of these different sides. This was never encouraged at school as there was just never enough space for it. We are very proud of the person Bow is growing into and what CHS supports and nurtures. We've also noticed that Bow's pride in presentation of work matters too and all work is done to an impeccable standard and never just rushed and handed in. Every single piece of work is marked, returned and talked about which has absolutely made. Bow wants to take extra pride in the quality that is being handed in because someone is actually not only looking at the work but actually enjoying the process of reading the work that you've tried so hard to complete. It's actually inspiring to watch the most important change to us is that Bow has been able to grow completely in their own image. This creates a score of amazing individual kind, caring minds who are going to do incredible things.

Jade Burnham : I think I shout about this to anyone that will listen if I'm quite honest, um I'm constantly recommended it in Facebook groups. And when I'm talking with friends and to anyone asking or will particularly listen, um it really has changed our lives. All of us. I would wholeheartedly say join, see for yourself. See the wonderful environment. that CHS is, encourage your child to be interactive, to grab this opportunity with both hands and then watch them grow into amazing humans. There is no school. Absolutely no other school. apart from CHS where you can genuinely have an open communication with teachers, both you and your children where you have small enough classes where everyone can be heard where you can have every bit of class work and homework marked with amazing feedback where teachers create extra clubs just because it's fun and not because they're on the clock where the teachers are from far and wide. So they are all incredible and engaging and nurturing the children love and adore them. And it really is beautiful to see. Honestly, I could talk forever about the amazing qualities of this school. So I would just say there's nothing to think about. Just do it.

Jade Burnham : I'm always recommending it to anyone that will listen. Actually, um, there are so many conversations that I'll be having every week with different people and CHS will always pop in. I'll talk about how fabulously it fits our life and how it's been such a success for Bow and how truly special the environment is. So. Absolutely. Yes, I would recommend this awesome school.
