What do you like most about Cambridge Home School Online?
Brian Fraser & Riina Fraser: Very good evening. It's Brian Fraser here. The very proud father of Alexander and Cameron Fraser. Our boys have attended Cambridge online school for the last five years and my wife and I simply just couldn't be happier. The education that they're receiving is first class and CHS is so totally on a different level to the more traditional private schools. The outstanding quality of tutoring, both in terms of breadth and depth is provided by experts such as Doctors and indeed Professors who are the most excellent of educators. They're inspiring, they're passionate about their subject but constantly engaging while remaining so easily approachable. Our Children actually often remark on their patience and also their great sense of humor. So thank you for that as well. Our Children are so enthusiastic about the school and love the immersive nature of CHS. Not only have they developed an incredible rapport with their tutors, but they've made many, many very good friends amongst their peers as well. That now that actually was the initial concern of ours, but it was very, very quickly dispelled because Children today live in the digital world with an ability to communicate across great distances and indeed continents, something that when I was their age, I could only have dreamt about. As parents. we absolutely praise what the school is. achieving. The communication and cooperation with us is exceptional. We know exactly what the boys are studying at any given time and also the grades that they're achieving. The CHS staff simply cannot do enough to ensure that they, that all students are stretched and guided to achieve the true full potential. Now, we love the fact that our Children are totally free to choose the academic subjects for the IGCSEs with great support from the tutors. And we've actually set our sights on the Cambridge University. So fingers crossed with all lessons recorded there's actually no such thing as a timetable clash which gives that complete freedom to choose the preferred syllabus. Our boys can also revise and repeat lessons to underpin their homework whenever it is convenient. Now, there's another great benefit about CHS and that's the freedom it gives us as a family to travel while attending CHS. And during term time, we've been all across Southeast Asia, Middle East and Emirates in various places across Europe without skipping a step within the school curriculum. and the school day, our Children have even met up with their school friends in various parts of the world that formed some seriously close friendships. Now, there's a saying that it takes a village to raise a child. CHS offers us something very, very special. Indeed, a global village in which to raise our Children. That's remarkable. So to sum up without hesitation, we wholeheartedly commend the quality of CHS education. Furthermore, the entire experience and outcomes which CHS deliver are pointing the way to the global future of private education. And we're very fortunate to be part of that journey. Thank you.
Why did you decide to educate your child online and why did you choose Cambridge Home School Online?
Has learning at Cambridge Home School Online changed your child? If so how?
Brian Fraser & Riina Fraser: Our boys have changed as a result of online learning. And that difference that we've seen over the last five years is the, the friendships that they've, formed. not just within the UK, but the global nature of CHS online is that they make global friendships. They've been very, very fortunate to have met, and had dinner with, some friends that they've met, met around the globe when we've been traveling, which is, has really been quite unique that has exposed them to various aspects of other cultures. And, I mean, where else could you get something like that? It's absolutely fantastic. It takes a village to raise a child, but these days we live in a global village. So the global village is actually raising our Children as well. That's remarkable!
As you have been at the school for a while now what advice would you like to give to parents about attending Cambridge Home School Online?
Brian Fraser & Riina Fraser: The advice I would give other parents about attending Cambridge Home school online is very easy. Don't worry, it's different. However, the flexibility that it gives the child is, is absolutely incredible. There is no such thing, for example, as a timetable clash, if this means that the full range of subjects is available to them when it comes to picking particular subjects come, you know, the exam years that is a freedom that would be hard to beat anywhere. Furthermore, the advice is that if your child is, for example, struggling with their homework again, don't worry, the lectures can be replayed as often as you like. So if there's a particular problem that the child is struggling with, with regard to the homework, just play it in the video and it's all there yet again, that's something that I wish I had when I was at school.
Finally, would you recommend Cambridge Home School Online and if so why?
Brian Fraser & Riina Fraser: We, recommend Cambridge Home School online. Of course, we would have, our boys have been here for five years and they're loving it. Why, would we recommend it? In fact, we have recommended that actually to some friends. the quality! Yeah, it's as simple as that, that's the content of the lessons that they presented, the enthusiasm and helpfulness of the staff. What's not to like. It's absolutely first class. And thank you.
