Zach Ellis : Hey, my name is Zach. Um, to describe my overall experience with Calidad tools, I say everything has been positive. Um, I don't have any complaints about tool quality. Uh, shippings have been prompt. Um, and the tools have really, um, some of the, the bits I got here, everything has worked out real well. Um, helping me as a, as a talent star, the blades have cut really well. I have no complaints about, uh, blade quality tool quality. Um, Calad seems to be a, a really positive choice for, um, for tile installers and for, uh, for installer needs. So I'm, I'm happy to recommend Calidad tools to anybody, uh, who would be considering, um, and shop in the market and looking around that, that Kada is a solid choice. I've got their, um, their starter kit mini as well as their, um, their 10 inch grinder blade. Uh, the butter cutter is one of my favorite grinder blades. So everything's been real positive.
Which products from Calidad Tools have you chosen and why?
Zach Ellis : But um I'll answer both if I were to choose one single tool. Uh It have to be the butter cutter blade, the butter cutter grinder blade. That's really well, it's very clean. Um In my whole experience as a tile installer, I think I've only had one other grinder blade that ever cut better than the butter cutter, but it was probably twice the, twice the price. So for the bang, for the buck and the versatility, um I definitely would choose the butter cutter as my primary everyday installation blade on any product. Great for mir because very clean. Um I actually I got the dirty curt here, but my butter cutter is on my grinder blade right now. Um But if I, if we're speaking of a product package or group of packages, um I definitely am very happy with my purchase of the starter kit. Mini. It comes with a lot of these little bits. I don't have them all some of them are out of my toolbox right now. But um if I can highlight these two would be the, the diamond, the diamond chafer cone. It comes in really well. It helps me shape out a lot of my holes. And um if you're like me, I struggle sometimes to cut around your shower valves and this helps smooth everything in a nice clean circle and it just makes the quality of my installation look a lot better and a lot more professional. Um, this finger is coming in handy a lot of times. Um I may be doing a backslash or something and it's hard to cut in around my receptacle and I can dry, fit my tile and then I can come back with this little finger and buzz out for the electrician to get his screws in the uh the outlets there in the uh in the backslash. And that's real handy. And I've even set, I even set a shower floor one time without setting up my wet saw. And I used this little finger bit man cut so clean to get the uh the rounded edges on my scooter drain in without setting up my wet saw or any other tools. So I'm definitely real happy with either of these in the uh starter kit mini. And as far as one single blade, I'd have to choose the um, the butter cutter blade man. Again, very happy with my purchase. And um, it's performing real well.
What has been your experience with Calidad products so far?
Zach Ellis : Uh my experience with Calidad tools has been really um really top quality man. Like I say, the, the tools have come through. Uh one time I went to go set a shower floor and I forgot my wet saw and um like I say, this little bit right here, this little finger bit uh really come in just in clutch, um burn out and, and rounding my edges around my um my scooter drain setting it in man and um the quality of the, the tools here, the um the cleanliness to the cut and to the butter cutter. And now I've been using this um 10 inch wet saw blade for uh several weeks now and it's been uh everything's been really, really high quality man. I, I can't complain anything about something not cutting or performing as well um as it should. And um k seems to um seems to really take care from a um from a tradesman perspective or from a to set of perspective. It seems like they put a little extra oomph into um into keeping their, their price low and their quality solid man, really solid quality
What other products would you like to see from Calidad Tools?
Zach Ellis : OK. So what other tools would I like to see from kin that tools? Um Honestly, not, not much really because like Calidad actually has introduced me to a few tools that I didn't even really know existed. Uh For instance, the uh the triangle that holds your flutter that sits on your wet saw. I didn't even know anything about those until I heard about it from Calidad. And now that I've got mine, it gives me so much more confidence in trimming out my niches and get my miters nice and clean and it just increases my quality as a uh as an installer and makes my homeowners and my customers a lot happier. Um But any, the only, the only kind of tools I could think of that Kade might consider would be like maybe something like a um a suction cup or a vacuum for big tile, 2 ft by 4 ft tile or um they may consider even getting like some, some knee pads or uh something of that measure. I don't know if they do or not. It would be considered, you know, uh maybe producing something like that for the uh for the installer market. But, um, calad seems to have a, a pretty wide array of products already and I'm, I'm pleased with what they offer.
