Could you describe your overall experience with Calidad Tools ?
Joel Davis : What up K dad tools, Joel Davis Art here, uh showing you guys some stuff I've been cutting, I'm working on a cow skull currently and I'm ripping it with the le finger 3/8 which is good for detail stuff, inner edges. I just cut this out recently with the uh butter cutter and 10 inch Pro which the 10 inch Pro is the B by the way. And I'm working on a series of saints that are porcelain and travertine and I cut these out uh predominantly with the butter cutter and the uh 10 inch pro. So thanks for helping me out my game fellas.
Which products from Calidad Tools have you chosen and why?
Joel Davis : DeWalt saw and it, it does excellent through full bodied porcelain, which is usually what I cut. Um, I've used the butter cutter, so a few of those are great for just general purpose grinding. Um, I've yet to try the Dirty Curt, mcgirt. Hopefully I'll get my hand on one of those soon. Um, I have a couple of the chaffer cones. I've yet to get one of the big ones because they're always out of stock. So, hopefully I'll get that soon. And, uh, I bought a turbo mesh thin blade and I dropped it the first day I had it, so I've yet to try that. But anyway, um, that's basically all I've used thus far and it's good stuff.
What has been your experience with Calidad products so far?
Joel Davis : Thus far, all my experience with the Kalli Dad tools has been pretty on point. Um, like I said, I dropped the thin turbo mesh blade and it bent really easily. But aside from that, I have zero complaints, I've put the 10 inch, uh, pro tile saw through hell. And it just keeps on cutting, you dress it a few times and it cuts, I've cut thousands of pieces of porcelain with it. Um, the butter cutter is excellent and, uh, the chaffer cones, the ones I have have been super satisfactory. So for the price point and the fact that I know I'm supporting a good company, I recommend it to all my friends who install tile or who just cut weird stuff like me.
What other products you'd like to see from Calidad Tools?
Joel Davis : I suppose uh other tools I'd maybe like to see you guys start to research or manufacture potentially like knee pads. Troxel does great. Custom does great. But if you guys had your own take on it, that might be cool. Um I see you got trials going now. So you got that unlocked. I have yet to buy one of those. I wanna, I wanna try one of those soon and uh I actually have some ideas. I want to run by you guys at some point once I get my prototype, so we'll talk further and I hope you guys are good.
