What was the problem you were experiencing when you came to us?

Cindy Cavett: The problem I was experiencing when I first came to breakthrough was that I knew that I wanted to have a healthy lifestyle full of movement and joy and just new experiences. And I wasn't quite positive on how to get to that place. Um There is a mantra on TV that I hear often. Um if you see her, you can be her. And um there was a dancer on one of my favorite shows on TV. And, and she was a plus size dancer and she inspired me greatly to get up and move because if this girl could shimmy her booty, the way that she did, what was stopping me from getting off the couch, stopping watching TV, and getting up and doing something myself as well. Um There was no excuse, they're the only person holding me back was me. And so I knew that I needed something um to help me break through the bad habits that I had established over such a long period of time. And I knew I needed help in, in getting to that place where I could live a healthier lifestyle.

What have you tried in the past to solve it? Why didn’t that work?

Cindy Cavett: OK. In the past, I have tried a whole variety of different methods and diets and, and uh ideas for trying to lose weight, everything from, you know, the Atkins diet to um Tae Bo workouts to diet pills. Um I, I believe I even drank a diet tea for about three months in my early twenties. Um and just, I just tried a variety of different things, but none of them took, took any effect because they weren't fixing the real issues. Um which were my habits, my thinking, my self esteem. Um and, and knowledge too. So there was a lot that I needed to still learn in order to make this a lifetime commitment to my health and wellness journey. Um You know, there's, there's no replacement for establishing good habits, you know, a a diet pill. Um a trend. Those things aren't going to make a difference long term, especially when life hands you um a challenging circumstance such as an illness in the family or an illness in yourself, um or a variety of, of other things that can happen to you that might cause you to derail um learning how to effectively manage your healthy lifestyle, in spite of the things that life might throw at you. Well, that, I, there's no, there's nothing that can describe the feeling that, that, that gives to you. There's nothing that can describe what that does for you, um, in the long term.

What results have you had working with us?

Cindy Cavett: I have had such tremendous success with breakthrough um through the results, accelerated program through the group um HIIT which is high intensity interval training, uh group training classes. Um You know, the inner circle program where we do weightlifting one on one. And, and then the, the Weekly Warrior calls one on one coaching accountability. I mean, the list goes on and on with um the different offerings that breakthrough has so to, to go further into what kind of results I've had, I initially lost around 90 pounds. Um when I first started with breakthrough and um an an an illness in my family had happened along the way where I took a step back and needed to revamp. Um And I did put a little bit of weight back on, but it was through that experience that I was able to see that I needed more work in establishing my emotional lifestyle of, of healthy living in addition to the healthy habits and healthy choices. Um because you need your foundation set in order to make these, these habits stick for the rest of your life. Um So I'm about halfway back to my goal again. Uh of losing that weight. And I'm, I'm super pumped to continue on this journey with breakthrough. And I'm so grateful for this community for helping me through such A challenging time in my life while also still moving forward with my personal health journey. Um You know, I would never get that in a gym in my, you know, in my life before. There's, there's no sense of real community that I've ever found, like I found at breakthrough.

What was your experience like?

Cindy Cavett: My experience with breakthrough has been one of a very positive experience but also challenging. So what I, what I mean by that is, is that I, I absolutely love the breakthrough community from the coaches and trainers to, to the, the the other, the other people who are working out um in the gym alongside you um or on the warrior call with you. Um It's such a positive experience, but it's also a life changing experience. So for instance, when we go into the warrior calls and, you know, on a weekly basis and when we start deep diving into our habits, our goals, what's holding us back? Um What can help us move forward? Um Tears are shed, you know, tears are shed. Um Sometimes you get down into your feels, and you're just like, huh I can't believe I just recognize that about myself and all these other people are going through the same exact thing. I'm not alone. That's what the experience is like with breakthrough. You're not alone.

What would you say to anyone that might be on the fence about working with us?

Cindy Cavett: If anybody out there is on the fence about working with breakthrough and whether or not um it's worth your time, your effort, your resources, I'm here to tell you that it really is. This is a life changing experience. And if you are ready to take that step so that you can change the course of your life, your, your health, your lifestyle, the goals that you have goals, you don't even realize you have yet. And yet you know that you are capable of more, this is where you need to be in order to make that happen.
