What's your favorite task to do at work?
Kathleen Owen: Well, I think my favorite task to do at Bravo and I do this on a quarterly basis is to set quarterly goals with every single one of my employees. I love strategic thinking and so Bravo has goals, I have a goal. Each one of the departments under me has a goal and every single person in those departments matters, every contribution they make matters. And so when I think about goal setting, there's a strategic element to it. But more important than that is, it's a tremendous way to communicate to employees that a they matter because you're setting a goal for them and you're enabling them to go accomplish things that maybe they've never accomplished before. You're reinforcing how much potential you see in them. And many times when you set goals, aggressive, but realistic, people can advance in their skill set and their career so much more quickly. So, it's wonderful for employee accomplishment and then ultimately driving results for the department and for the organization.
