How has BossmakeHer changed your life?
Brittany Gudex: When I joined BossmakeHer, I was really struggling. I was struggling with who I was, with where I was going professionally and personally. I was burnt out. And BossmakeHer gave me the clarity and knowing that there was community around me and the strength and the confidence to forge ahead. And what I got out of BossmakeHer was a lot of clarity around my passion. My drive, my ability to believe in myself and apply those transferable skills and critical conversations to where I really wanted to go. So, I can't say enough wonderful things about BossmakeHer. It was not all Rosie, Mary, and rainbows. There was a lot of grit and a lot of gratitude that went into Developing myself throughout the whole process, but I can tell you that the takeaways far outweighed the struggles of going through the program and really looking yourself in the mirror to what you wanted to get out of it in the end and knowing what's the most important was really hard for me and here we are, loved it and landed and sharing all the wonderful things about the program because It's great. You're gonna love it.
What part of the BossmakeHer program made the biggest difference for you, and why?
Brittany Gudex: The most impactful piece of BossmakeHer was by far clarity. However, it's twofold because after clarity came the rebrand, and for me, seeing is believing. So everything I was getting out of clarity, seeing, you know, how it unfolded. With, you know, my vision, who I am, my core, my inner compass of what I saw inside myself and where I saw myself going was really the full circle piece of it and knowing that the industry or the role or the skills or my passion was aligned with that rebrand was really, really fulfilling for me.
What three words best describe BossmakeHer, and why?
Brittany Gudex: The top three words that describe BossmakeHer are Clarity, Courage, and Commitment.
Based on your BMH experience, what advice would you give a friend who is navigating the job search process on her own?
Brittany Gudex: Based upon my BMH experience, I would give the best advice to a friend to join the BMH community. If you're in the job search, you're not alone and you don't need to do it alone because it's hard. But if you don't just want to look for a job either and you want to look for a career that you're going to be passionate about and that's aligned with your core and your clarity, and even if you don't have clarity, you'll find it. So join the BMH community and have fun with the ladies because it's a great, great group.
