Speaker: Teresa Petersen, Mindful Wellness and Recovery
Can you describe how Blueprint has helped you? The more specific the better!
Teresa Petersen: Hi, my name is Teresa. I'm a licensed clinical social worker, and I have my own online. Therapy practice that I started at the beginning of the pandemic. I'm a trauma specialist and um I uh. Have been utilizing. Blueprint, um, audio, uh, auto note taking now for a couple of weeks, I have found the program to write some very comprehensive progress notes that I've been very pleased with um the notes have been inclusive of therapy goals and objectives, um, they've also included. Multiple therapeutic um modalities and interventions that I utilize in session but had never given myself credit for when I was handwriting out my own notes, so I really appreciated that, um, and, uh, it helped me to feel even more confident and competent as a therapist myself. Um, so I found that kind of funny because I was feeling I was feeling, um, encouraged by this AI system. Um, and I found that the free time that this has given me has really given me the time to focus on my clients, focus on what I really enjoy doing and that's working directly with my clients and in therapy, um, and, and being able to um see them heal and grow. And meeting their therapeutic goals, um, this program has also helped me to. Regain uh personal time, um, to be able to spend on myself for myself in my own personal self care, um, and, um, with my family, so I have really appreciated that and, um, I didn't realize just how much of my time was being taken away by doing. My note work on the weekends, so I really um have have enjoyed having that that time back and, and again, um, just uh feel like this is helping me a lot with my professional self care, my personal self care. And spending time where I really enjoy it, where I, where it's really needed and that's working directly with my clients. So I see myself utilizing this program for some time to come. Thank you.
How much time have you saved on documentation as a result of Blueprint? Have you re-invested this newfound time into anything notable?
Teresa Petersen: The prompt the question is how much time have I saved on documentation as a result of blueprint and um how have I reinvested this newfound time into anything notable, um, as far as time goes, I would. It would be a guess I have not actually documented the time, but um I would say it's a good good afternoon um of uh working on on documentation that I don't have to do um utilizing this program and that time has been utilized in um in my own self care. And and um being able to spend that time with my family and so that's notable um and um and being able to take care of my own needs and and be with my family, I'm I'm more um available to be present with my clients, so I really appreciate that and um will be um. Will be continuing to utilize this program so that I can continue to have that time. Thank you.
How do you describe Blueprint to clients when it comes to obtaining consent? How do clients react?
Teresa Petersen: When introducing and describing blueprint, the automated note taker taker program that um I'm utilizing, I have incorporated the consent form in with my. Practice consents, um, and, um, have also included it in the discussion when I am talking about. Informed consent with my clients and I started this at the beginning of the year, so it was a nice transition to be able to incorporate the consent um as I was um. Creating new practice consents for the year for um all of my clients um as as it was that time annually so that worked out and um I haven't had, I haven't had any of my clients have any kind of an issue or a concern with it, um, especially because I assure them this is a HIPAA compliant, um, program. And that the recording is deleted um soon after it was made and again, I haven't had any clients express any, any um questions or concerns about it. And all have signed off on it.
