Can you describe how Blueprint has helped you? The more specific the better!
Diana Gomez: So I just started using blueprint and have found it so helpful. It is really saving me a good amount of time in terms of tracking all kinds of information for my note taking. I like that I can edit and adjust the note for myself before submitting it into my he electronic health record. I it catches things that I might not have remembered at the end of a session to make a note of. So I really appreciate that. Uh One of the things I most love is that they have E MD R treatment or E MD R therapy type, uh like templates for notes and given that, that's the majority of the clients that I see is under E MD R therapy that has saved me a ton of time because it separates the information in a really organized way.
How much time have you saved on documentation as a result of Blueprint? Have you re-invested this newfound time into anything notable?
Diana Gomez: Since starting to utilize blueprint regularly, I have a lot more consistent with my documentation. I do it immediately after the session when I finalize the audio recording because it's all ready for me to add, edit, adjust the note. I do that and then I go ahead and finalize it and then transfer that over into my electronic health record. Whereas before, sometimes I would wait a day or two to then do multiple notes at a given time. So it is giving me back a few hours a week now that I've started blue prep.
How do you describe Blueprint to clients when it comes to obtaining consent? How do clients react?
Diana Gomez: When I discuss uh blueprint A I note taking with clients, usually the question is where is that stored or what happens? And they like, um I'm able to provide the preformatted uh explanation from blueprint and usually that suffices. Um but I'm happy to discuss that further with any of my clients if they have additional concerns. Um But for the most part, clients are aware that this is an effective tool for me to keep abreast of their documentation.
