Speaker: Daniella Thomas, Carolina Psychological Health Services
Can you describe how Blueprint has helped you? The more specific the better!
Daniella Thomas: Utilizing blueprint to help with my note taking has been such a time saver at work. Um I am very appreciative of this type of technology. It's hard to sit and talk with your patient and write down every little detail and try to remember every detail. So having this type of technology help you get through your visits, saves time is more efficient and it helps with um to facilitate patient care. Uh I am glad that I found blueprint and it has been a breeze using it at work.
How much time have you saved on documentation as a result of Blueprint? Have you re-invested this newfound time into anything notable?
Daniella Thomas: I have saved at least at the minimum 30 minutes on a new client visit by using this note taking strategy. So, um, and that definitely adds up. So that's at the minimum 30 minutes. I'm sure it's probably been more than that for each note, but it's been great.
How do you describe Blueprint to clients when it comes to obtaining consent? How do clients react?
Daniella Thomas: I let them know that it is A I that assists with my note taking and records and listens and it helps um with our visit. Um It catches things that I may not catch and um it is hipaa compliant and um and it helps facilitate a better visit. So when I can't write down everything with the notes, I know I have my recording um to back me up and I can go through it and patients have been very receptive to it and also appreciate it.
