Speaker: Daniel Thibeault, Bodhi Counseling Services
Can you describe how Blueprint's AI Notetaker has helped you? The more specific the better!
Daniel Thibeault: Hi, good morning. My name is Dan and I am a therapist in New Hampshire and preened and have been using blueprint for about nine months and I maintain a pretty high caseload, um sometimes as high as 40 sessions a week. And for me, the big thing with blueprint has been efficiency first, it's allowed me to cut maybe 5, 4.5, 5 hours of uh administrative time out of my schedule that's obviously hugely um supportive for work life balance. Um I wrote my thesis on burnout and there's only a certain amount of physiological resources we have and the concentration effort, we all know that goes into therapy can really tap us and um to get four or five hours for self care uh to work in other areas um is uh immensely valuable. Um I like, I wanna get more into the um the summaries, the ability to get right before a session and look back at their cousin's name that they dropped at the end of the session. Um because when you can bring that up, it builds working alliance with the clients. So, um the technical proficiency I've been really impressed with um I am amazed I had contemplated a solution like this as the large language models had grown and proliferated, but I didn't think that the industry would adopt it that quickly or H A or insurance would be on board and it's all working well. Um And the um output for me is a, you know, significantly better counseling experience. So, uh I've been thrilled with it. I've changed practices and talked the new practice into uh uploading blueprint. So, uh incorporating blueprint into the practice. So I'm a big fan as you can tell I have no affiliation with them. Um, and, um, but, uh, look at it as something that's, um, for me is now a must have already.
How much time have you saved as a result of Blueprint's AI Notetaker? Have you re-invested this newfound time into anything notable?
Daniel Thibeault: So I already answered this one in my first, but I save about five hours a week for 4.5, 4 to 5 depending on the week. I maintain a high core uh caseload something as high as, you know, I probably do about 35 on average a week sessions. So, and I use it for all my sessions. Um I haven't had any client push back on the signing, the consent to use it. And um, again, it's been extremely helpful and supportive for streamlining my process. The note taking, which for me was a huge drag.
How do you describe Blueprint's AI Notetaker to clients when it comes to obtaining consent? How do clients react?
Daniel Thibeault: For me um describing it to clients is easy. Um I basically just say I'd say it's an app. It's an A I, it helps me do my note taking. Uh So I can be more focused on the clinical work that I want to do with them. And that uh I did get a few questions from a few, a few um thoughts about the A I apocalypse, but they all consented. Um I think because of the trust they have in the alliance they've built up, but also because it's just technology is a part of all of our lives. So I don't think it's a problem at all.
