Speaker: Christopher charles Selcer, Christopher Selcer, LICSW,LCSW Therapist
Can you describe how Blueprint has helped you? The more specific the better!
Christopher charles Selcer: Hi, my name is Chris Selzer, and I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Washington in the state of Nevada. And my practice is a 50/50 mix of telehealth clients and live clients. And I think I've been reluctant to try to use AI to fortify my practice, uh, because of things like fearing HIPAA safety, uh, being concerned about my client's feelings around using the software. And my experience with Blueprint has completely changed my mind about everything. Uh, literally, within the 1st 2 of my 5 free trials, I was blown away. I thought once it was time to commit that the pricing tiers were reasonable for what I'm getting in exchange, roughly for just under $1 a session, I am getting far more accurate, far more clear notes, and I no longer need to concern myself with minute details. I can focus on the health of my clients and the quality of my interaction with them. So while I'm doing my job to be the best therapist I can be, Blueprint is making sure that my documentation reflects it and meets the needs of the insurance providers that I serve, and the families that I serve. Go blueprint.
How much time have you saved on documentation as a result of Blueprint? Have you re-invested this newfound time into anything notable?
Christopher charles Selcer: Uh, documentation time. Uh, I am one of those therapists that when I'm with my clients, I absolutely do not like to be looking at a screen or a laptop. I like to be engaged with my client, and at the very most have a notepad to jot down a few minor details. That is one place where Blueprint has made my sessions amazing. I can completely engage 100% with my clients and know that I'm not missing any details, and I'm also not losing any time. Uh, I would say I probably put about 20 to 25 minutes post session into typing a quick note, um, gap for soap note following my sessions, and I don't have to do that anymore. It literally takes me about 2 minutes to touch up and edit the note, and then I'm done.
How do you describe Blueprint to clients when it comes to obtaining consent? How do clients react?
Christopher charles Selcer: When I explain blueprint to my clients, I tell them that it is an AI that frees me up to focus on the job I'm doing for them, that it is a 100% confidential, that everything is completely safe and HIPAA protected, and that it enables me to do a better job. And I have not had one client take issue with it.
