What is your name and position at Birdeye, and how long have you been a part of the nest?
Jeff Mendoza: Hello, my name is Jeff. I'm based in the Philippines and I'm a Director for Brand Design in Birdeye. I've been part of the nest for around 10 months now.
What is your favorite part of your role at Birdeye?
Jeff Mendoza: For me, the best part of my role, aside from seeing the actual work is actually being able to take care of our creatives. So they have a good work life balance.
What do you enjoy most about working at Birdeye?
Jeff Mendoza: Aside from the work life balance, I think what I enjoy most about working in Birdeye is that at least in the design department as a whole, you know, our team makes a conscious effort to create an environment, you know, that allows each one of us to share ideas or thoughts or, you know, feelings without being placed in a position where we might get scrutinized. Like, for example, I can be confident to throw in an idea or a suggestion, even if it's bad and someone might pick it up and build up on it and it becomes better, you know, see where it goes. And I think having a safe environment helps creatives grow. I think that's what I really enjoy about working here.
What excites you the most about the future of Birdeye?
Jeff Mendoza: That's a good question. What excites me about the future of Birdeye is not about the technology that I put in my product, but more about how Birdeye is a brand will evolve in the future. And, you know, like me being part of the brand team, you know, I, you can't ask for anything more, you know, it's really exciting. I'm happy to be a part of it.
