How has working with Bchex impacted your hiring processes and overall HR operations?
Emelda Bates: How has working with Bchex impacted our hiring processes and overall hr operations. Well, we have clients in a number of spaces from hospice and health care to legal, to technology all the way to private equity, oil and gas. And one thing that all of these companies have in common is they want to know exactly who they're hiring. And Bchex is a resource that we use to get that done. Um Historically, we learned of Bchex Uh Someone made a mention of them to us and we decided to run two background checks concurrently, one through a competitor, one through Bchex and the results were, the competitor came back with zero hits. Bchex, came back with four. So you tell me right. So ever since then, uh we took all of our clients to Bchex for background checks and our clients trust that what we give them is accurate and thorough.
What distinguishes Bchex from other background check providers you've used in the past? What do you appreciate most about their services?
Emelda Bates: What do we enjoy most about working with Bchex Honestly, it's the accuracy. I know that when I present or any of us on the team present anything to our clients, um, regarding background investigations or motor vehicle reporting, we know that it's accurate and when there's doubt and we contact Bchex, they will go so far as to send someone to the courthouse in small towns where electronic files are not available to pull that data to ensure its accuracy. It just doesn't get any better than that.
Can you share an example of a time when Bchex's services provided valuable insight that helped you make a more informed?
Emelda Bates: Bchex has proved incredibly valuable in instances where, for example, we're hiring in hospice care. Well, in hospice, you have people going into the homes of, of, you know, people who are at the end of life and you want to know who you're sending in those homes. And we took over a new client and they had, um they had a chance to ask us what we thought about the, the background investigation company they were using. And I said, well, why don't we do this? Why don't we run the background checks concurrently? And let's just see what that company comes back with and what Bchex comes back with. Sure enough, a much more thorough report came back from Bchex. And so the client was able to really make a decision, needless to say the client uh terminated the relationship with the other vendor and came on over to Bchex. Um It was a no brainer.
How would you rate the accuracy, turnaround time, and customer service provided by Bchex?
Emelda Bates: If I had to rate Bchex, specifically looking at accuracy, turnaround time, um, how they handle sensitive data, 10 out of 10. And I'm not just saying that I'm saying that because I have had so many situations where someone had so many things in their background that it did take more than, you know, two or three days to run the, the, the B I and MVR. And let's say it took five business days and the clients frustrated, they want to know why it's taking so long. And my response to them was trust, just let's just trust the process. Well, sure enough when the data came back, they saw exactly why because the person had quite a lengthy history of infractions. And now, you know, but oftentimes companies are so in a hurry to move the process forward that they forget that there are real people on the back end doing the real work to make sure you hire. Right. That is Bchex. And that is why I stake my reputation on Bchex time. And again,
Would you recommend Bchex's background screening solutions to other HR professionals or companies? If so, why?
Emelda Bates: Would I recommend Bchex to other companies? I have many of them, every single client that we have uses Bchex. A lot of our company, other companies that we work with, who we may not service. We've recommended Bchex just from other hr professionals that we know who ask why accuracy timeliness. And to be honest, when you call with the question, the back office staff is just friendly and helpful. That's the truth. I mean, and don't take my word for it, just try it, try it. You'll see and when you get that first report and that second report and that third report and you see just how crisp and clean it is and how they duplicate their efforts over and over to give you true data, real data points missing nothing. I've yet to have a client come back or a or an employee come back and say, oh, well, I also had this on my background and it didn't show up, not with Bchex. It didn't, it was all right there. How could you not recommend that? And how could I not be excited to recommend that?
