Mari Jo Moody: Hello and thank you for taking the time to explore career opportunities here at Batesville. My name is Mari Jo Moody and I'm the Chief Human Resources Officer here at Batesville.

Mari Jo Moody: One of the amazing things about our great company is not only do we have over 3000 associates across the Americas.

Mari Jo Moody: I joined this great company. Over 25 years ago, I started as an intern while I was in college. And then when I graduated from college, I had the opportunity to join the internal audit department. And over the next 25 years, I've had the opportunity to explore different areas such as Operations, IT, and Human Resources. And now I have found that Human Resources is indeed my passion and I absolutely love being a part of the leadership team and helping our entire organization grow and to be the best version of themselves.

Mari Jo Moody: The culture here at Batesville is truly amazing. We operate as a family and one that cares about each other and wants to help and support each individual as they support our mission of helping families honor the lives of those they love. I like to say that we did purpose before purpose was cool because truly helping families honor the lives of those they love. That is a true, very passionate mission statement that each one of our 3000 associates understands, believes and follows each and every day. And I truly think that is what stands out the most about our culture. Everyone works together with a common mission of helping our funeral professionals so that they can help families each and every day. Because at the heart of everything that we do, we are supporting someone at the worst possible time in their lives and everything that we do through all of our products and services, our websites and our various tools help funeral directors help families so they can truly honor the lives of those they love.
