What is your name and role in the company?
Ashley Lonneman: I'm Ashley Lonneman and I'm an Inside Sales Supervisor for Batesville.
Tell us your story on how you joined Batesville and your experience working here and/or your career path within Batesville.
Ashley Lonneman: My career with Batesville began about four years ago and at that time, I was freshly coming out of college and I'm a local to the area here where the headquarters is. And over the years I've had the privilege of getting to meet some of the individuals who are employed by Batesville and they all possess just this like, intriguing pride of what they did as their career. And it was something that truly always stuck with me and, you know, coming out fresh out of college, I knew that I wanted to come into a company and stay there long term and based off what I would see and feel from these individuals, you know, it, it definitely made me consider Batesville as one of those options. So I applied for a position on the inside sales team. I began as a sales representative and later I was promoted as a lead sales representative. And today I am a supervisor for the inside sales team.
What stands out to you about the culture at Batesville?
Ashley Lonneman: What stands out to me about Batesville culture is again, you know, the immense amount of pride that myself and all of our associates really possess. You know, as we help families honor the lives of those they love. But additionally, you know, you're not just joining a corporation, you're, you're really joining a family. And with that, I say, you know, you will feel well supported once joining. And at the end of the day, we all really care about one another.
