David Zhang: I've been with Batesville for almost a year. And a little bit about what I do is I take raw data and transform it into useful information. And this information is intended to help business to make better business decisions.

David Zhang: What I love about working at Batesville is just the challenges that are provided with from a data setting. And it's exciting to be able to be part of a team that is part of the ramping up of the digital transformation for the company. And I love all these challenges that are part of that journey where we are going to essentially move from an old way of doing things to new ways of doing things and being part of that growth is exciting. Obviously, another thing I really love is just my team. They're very flexible, they're really nice down to earth people, very easy to talk to. And I think the culture here, even with my team is just about, you know, mutual understanding about working hard and being able to deliver excellent results. And a lot of these things are great working with highly competent people. And a lot of these people are way smarter than me. And that's always a good thing.

David Zhang: The business intelligence team falls under the finance team. So that's kind of our underlying umbrella for my department. And the finance team is important for any business because it ensures that resources are used effectively and efficiently and it complies with high standards of ethics and transparency. As the finance team, we support the organization by providing expertise and guidance on various financial matters. And a lot of finance is also very data oriented and some of these matters could include accounting, expenses, travel and strategic decision making. Finance is a very important part of the support system for our customers as well because with our customers, the finance team connects and builds relationships through setting up accounts, pricing, program, establishment, billing and payments. And when you're interviewing with the finance team, you can really expect them to do their due diligence. When I was interviewing here, I had about, I think 4 to 5 interviews or I guess rounds with various people within finance directors, CFO, people that I'll be working with analysts, et cetera. So yeah, they will do their due diligence and it's always a good thing because whoever comes out at the end of it are usually pretty good picks and it helps with retention.
