What factors impacted your bank's decision to move to .Bank?
Jared Parker: There are a few factors that impacted our banks move to dot Bank. One of those was I'm on a group called the Mafia, it Mafia. And so we were always getting together looking at different security features and, and speaking with the different government entities in regards to the security. And so this was something that was, you know, coming up and was fairly new. So it gave us the ability to differentiate ourselves from a financial institution, from a security standpoint for our customers. And also, you know, with the name, you know, a couple of different things getting, getting in early and with the dot bank name, give us the ability to kind of differentiate ourselves with the your first dot Bank slogan. So we were, we were glad to get that option as well.
What does the move to .Bank mean to your bank?
Jared Parker: The move to dot Bank for us. Just like I said, in the previous answer, really, it allowed us to differentiate ourselves from maybe our competition um letting our customers know, you know how important it was from a security standpoint for us to have the, you know, move away from the.com to a little bit more of a secure platform and also gave us the ability to differentiate ourselves. just with you know, the, the slogans and the things that we were able to come up with using the dot Bank versus the.com.
What is your advice to banks considering the move to .Bank?
Jared Parker: If you're considering the move to dot Bank, my advice would be, why not, why wouldn't you look at moving to a platform that gives you more security features, something that you can um you know, tell your customers that you're going above and beyond for them from a security standpoint. I don't understand why banks would not all move in that direction and utilize that feature and also, you know, gives you a good, good platform or a good subject to utilize from an advertising standpoint and maybe come up with some slogans or different things like that off of the dot Bank a lot easier to do that off the dot Bank than it is to do it off the.com.
