What factors impacted your bankers' association's decision to move to .Bank?
Aza Bittinger Jr: Hello, my name is Aza Bettinger Junior, and I am president and CEO of the Community Bankers Association of Ohio. We made the move to Dot Bank in the 4th quarter of 2023. There were several factors that influenced our decision at that time. One, our mission and vision is to lead the industry. Dot Bank is more in alignment with our mission to serve our members. Second, safety and security. Dotbank is a way for us to help reduce or eliminate some of the digital noise.
What does the move to .Bank mean to your bankers' association?
Aza Bittinger Jr: The migration to Dot Bank is significant for CBAO. Ohio community banks have embraced the adoption of Dot Bank. Currently there are over 30 community banks in Ohio that have already made the switch, with several more in the process.
What is your advice to banks and bankers' associations considering the move to .Bank?
Aza Bittinger Jr: If you're thinking about making a move to Dotbank, I would give it serious consideration. Making a move to Dotbank was much easier than anticipated, and we are glad that we made the move.
