Speaker: Eben Joel, Director of Technology
Eben Joel: Hi, my name is Eben Joel. My experience with AYP began almost 2.5 years ago. I love what AYP stands for. It really embodies Christian, specifically Adventist young people to serve each other and to serve the community. And I love what it does for me and what it does for many of us in this community.
What inspires you to volunteer with AYP?
Eben Joel: Serving God is not a request but a command that Jesus gave us to do and serving with one another in a community like AYP, makes it such a joyous experience, not for only myself, but really the tremendous relationships that are born in service with Christ.
Tell us about the exciting opportunities on your team!
Eben Joel: In the past year, I have taken on an additional role as a director of technology at AYP. Currently, we are looking to see what we can do to enable AYP to continue to grow. So if you work in the technology area, from web content management to data to analysis, we'd love for you to be part of our technology team.
How do you envision this role having a missional impact?
Eben Joel: In today's world, technology is just as important in the work of the mission as anything else, technology will play a strategic role to enable growth and engagement within a as such. We want to ensure that technology is not the limiting factor for this mission. So we need you.
