Why should network engineers expand their cloud knowledge with ACE?
Thomas Mouilleseaux: The ACE Program is bringing multiple things to network engineers. You can start from the basics to understand cloud, for people who have never practiced or never learned cloud basics. You can also learn operations, troubleshooting, and Infrastructure as Code. There are multiple trainings available to build your foundation, for practicing and not only just theoretically talking about cloud networking, but really practicing with labs and getting you ready before deploying.
How do you think the skills taught in ACE will help advance your career in the cloud?
ACE is going to help me in the cloud journey in my career and at my company. How I support the business, our software strategy with a strong core foundation in the cloud, respecting some good principles, being agile, cloud-native, the right way, and ensuring a good level of security. So basically, I would say translate the very good principles that we had on-premises in a cloud way that is understandable by network engineers as well.
