Speaker: Mike Riley, Director of Client Strategy
How did you find your way to your current role at Avalaunch Media?
Mike Riley: I found out about Avalaunch through a friend, and I actually attended the very first Google Day in California with the whole team, and that's where I met some of the owners and some of the team members and was hooked on finding a job with Avalaunch. I interviewed for a couple of different positions over the years, and ultimately landed on a Marketing Manager position. And then I've grown from there, so into a Strategist, Senior Strategist, and now Director of Client Strategy. So definitely evolved since being here and excited to see where my pathway continues.
Could you share a few details about the favorite part of your role and the team at Avalaunch Media?
Mike Riley: I think my favorite part of my role is twofold. One, I get to help clients develop and execute kind of a marketing strategy that supports their business. But then two is working with a team of extremely talented and bright individuals that help execute that direction and so - being a part of that and letting people kind of do what they do and the best of their ability, and seeing people just kind of like take ownership in their specific area and work to the best of their ability is really satisfying to see, and, I think, part of what makes Avalaunch so great.
What stands out to you about the culture at Avalaunch Media?
Mike Riley: Culture stands out to me at Avalaunch in one major way, and that's how supportive and positive everybody is. Working in a few different companies over the over a few years, you just don't see that same sort of support and positivity, and it's really helpful to really push things forward, and push people to new heights and see what people can achieve and overcome, you know, with some challenges and different things that we're doing in marketing and really drive new initiatives and success for our clients. And so that's really awesome to see.
