Dear editors, dear colleagues, thank you for the opportunity to present our article. My name is Khaled Elsayad, I am a Radiation Oncology Consultant and head of the Marburg Radiation Oncology Unit at Marburg University Hospital in Germany. As you know, low-dose radiotherapy is gaining increased interest with the radiation oncologists and the dermatologists due to three main reasons: high efficacy, low toxicity and the short duration of treatment. So in this analysis, we aim to investigate the pattern-of- care among physicians treating primary cutaneous lymphomas. and a total 189 EORTC questionnaires were sent to our members. Moving on to the results, 51 respondents sent us their pattern- of-care data and we were surprised that pattern-of-care was in patients with cutaneous lymphomas are very heterogeneous. And those recommendations varies extensively across all types and subtypes of primary cutaneous lymphoma. Also, we observed that one-third to two-thirds of investigators are considering low-dose radiotherapy for their patients and only one-third of investigators are considering hypo-fractionated regimes. Most importantly, the International Lymphoma Radiation Oncology Group guidelines are followed by 50 to 70% of respondents. So in conclusion, this is the first time that such a result has been presented and probably many patients are still overtreated. As an immediate reaction from EORTC cutaneous lymphoma tumor group members, we developed a radiotherapy guideline, our recommendation for radiotherapy fractionation and dose to be such a reference for our colleagues within the EORTC community, and also we organized webinars focusing on cutaneous lymphoma treatments. So we have still got quite a long way to go. Special thanks to all investigators who participated in this analysis and thank you very much for your attention.
