Lexus: Hi, good morning. My name is Lexis Wilkins. I am a new hire flight attendant here about two years. Um, based in Dallas Fort Worth, I was sent to Boston right out of training a very expensive city to move in, especially as a new hire on that new hire pay where I was in a crash pad with 12 other flight attendants just so I could eat. Um, then thereafter 23 months moving to Philadelphia where I could have some support with friends. Um, moving in with a friend still could not afford to go grocery shopping just for myself and barely affording rent. I am now Dallas Fort Worth based, uh for about three months now, just so I can live so I have groceries to eat. So I have rent that I can actually afford to pay. Being a new hire flight attendant. The pay is not adequate enough for the cities that we have to be based in. Um, and it's not even close to home, but it's where I'm gonna have to reside for now.
