Jamie: Hello, my name is Jamie. I am a DFW based flight attendant. I have been with American Airlines for nine years. Um, being without a contract for the last five years has been a struggle. Um, like everyone else, I've gone through ups and downs. Um, 2019 being the last time we got a raise, um, was also the last time that I felt financially comfortable. The pandemic really ruined. Um, me feeling financially comfortable, um, in the last five years, uh, emotionally I've had, uh, some losses and those losses which usually loss comes with a financial burden. Uh, those burdens have definitely made it to where, um, a raise would have kind of alleviated some of the pain. But unfortunately, that is not where we are. Um, here's to hoping that, you know, the company does the right thing and they offer us what we deserve, but, I mean, we're five years in and I just don't see it.
