Chirs: Hello, my name is Chris. I'm a Philadelphia based flight attendant and I've been with the company for about 12.5 years now, since 2019, a lot has changed in the world and a lot has changed with myself. Uh, back in 2020 at the height of COVID, I had to have a double organ transplant leaving me out of work for about 15 months. When I returned to work in 2021 everything about the job has changed except the pay. We're now being assaulted by passengers enforcing new rules, all kinds of craziness and we are still getting paid the same as before. And now here we are five years later, we're still getting paid that same rate as we were in 2019 and everything's gone up. Uh My rent is up $300. My groceries, I pay $50 more a week for my utilities have gone up. I've had to empty out my savings just to keep up with everything. And for the first time ever, uh this year I overdrafted my checking just so I could pay my bills and I'm topped out.
Chirs: I'm kind of burnt out. Uh, the company has got me burn out. Um, it's time for management to step up. Give us the cost of living adjustment that we deserve that we earned so we can survive if I'm tired of the games. I just wanna be able to pay any of those. Thanks.
