Speakers: Dr. Aaron Kaufman
What is oxidative stress and how does it impact human health? How is it related to redox balance and how it helps oxidative stress.
Dr. Aaron Kaufman: There are two considerations when we're looking at oxidative stress or things that cause cellular damage. One is the use stress which we talked about before is natural. You know, by-product of living, you know, whatever the source of emotional stress or physical stress, just running or, you know, for some of us just walking and going about our daily chores and so forth can cause cellular damage. And again, and this triggers these balance mechanism, this redox homeostasis within ourselves, which is healthy. It causes us to uh produce uh reduct. It triggers the pathways or signals the pathways for uh production of things like glutathione and superoxide dismutase and catalase. And these reduct substances that cause this balance and cause us to detoxify. Certainly, there are things like uh um you know, environmental pollutants and so forth, which we want to do our best to avoid. But somebody once said that we are exposed to more environmental pollutants now in an hour than our great grandparents were in their lifetimes. So some of it is unavoidable living on planet Earth in 2024. But we can try to filter our water at least or or drink spring water or alkaline water or something, we can purify our air if we don't live in a good environment and certainly we can eat Nonprocessed food. And so we don't get all the chemicals and round up and glyphosate and so forth. Um, but to balance these out, naturally, we can do all sorts of things like getting exercise every day. Uh, that creates this, uh, redox balance, this homeostasis of these mechanisms, you know, not eating for 16 or 18 hours a day, you know, intermittent fasting, we can um you know, make sure that we get plenty of sleep and the and the real important one, no matter what our toxicity levels and what our exposures when we replenish our redox cell signaling molecules, it helps us to detoxify these exposures and therefore to create a higher state of health and to be able to, you know, deal with the environment better.
How do environmental factors such as pollution and UV radiation affect redox balance, and what can individuals do to protect themselves?
Dr. Aaron Kaufman: I'm answering these questions in the order of the email. So they're not in step with the uh the questions here. So I'm on number four is the skin of aging. So I'm gonna do that now. As we age, our skin can break down for a number of reasons. But a lot of them are environmental like sunlight, which we need, you know, we're all vitamin D deficient. So we do need sunlight. It helps us make vitamin D amongst other things which is foundational to life. But um too much UV, particularly on our faces can break down collagen and cell structure and so forth. And particularly if we get sunburns, it can age the skin. There's a lot of things we can do like uh using uh uh uh sun protectant on our faces. And uh you know, maybe just wearing a hat so that our, the skin of our face doesn't get too exposed. But there's a lot of things we can do. Notably, uh um the Asia products, using redox signaling molecules can help repair damage to the skin. And particularly if you've gotten uh uh sun exposure. And when I've gotten sunburns and I use the renew 28 8 redox signaling gel um Within an hour or two my the sun damage is gone. Drinking it internally makes a difference for the whole body using uh the, the, the four redox products produced by Asia, the drink and the gel, the clay mask and the advanced serum. All of these reverse the damage that aging and environmental stress can cause. And more recently uh supporting the collagen production that is the foundation of our skin. So, a powerful antioxidant uh um uh and regenerative boost is using the uh redox uh cell performance radiance which uh rebuilds our collagen like no other product I've ever used.
What happens to our skin as we age? How to combat signs of aging and keep your skin healthy?
Dr. Aaron Kaufman: So this is number five from the email questions. Uh What do we look for in skin care products? Um When we're looking at skin care products, we by and large want to use natural products made from natural sources. A good generalization is if you have trouble pronouncing a name uh of an ingredient in your skincare product, it might be a good idea to exclude it from usage. And you know, frankly, if you look at most skincare products, hair care, skin care products, cosmetics on the market, they're full of chemicals that a lot of which are potentially uh toxic. You can put your ingredients in. There's a number of websites that will tell you about the ingredients in your skincare products. Uh huge percentage of them are dangerous. Um Certainly the redox products that Asia carries are just the bomb for, you know, healing and rejuvenating and uh um making our skin more healthy and alive and, and vibrant and better blood flow and so forth. Uh I love all of our skin care products. The advanced uh uh line is just the um amazing um you look at the ingredients and they're just brilliantly constructed the things they put together and the reasoning and why they do that in their selection of sources is like nothing else on the market.
What ingredients should individuals look for in skincare? And share your opinions about our skin care products
Dr. Aaron Kaufman: This is number six of the email questions on caffeine. Caffeine is a stimulant that occurs naturally in things like coffee and tea and other plants around the world. And um it's stimulating and it helps with mental clarity. Too much caffeine can make you wired, can make your heart race and so forth and make some people agitated. I love 1 to 2 cups of coffee a day at work and I drink that most days or if I'm having uh breakfast or lunch with friends, you know, it helps to um enhance conversation. So I like caffeine. Um This one of the, you know, things that we have to consider is the source we want organic, we want natural sources rather than uh synthetic and uh use of chemicals. One of the cleanest sources and the best sources is uh C uh C uh C performance, uh redox energy. And the caffeine in there is again, natural sources from uh guarana, which is a South American plant as well as green coffee bean. So these are very clean sources. Plus a host of other ingredients that work synergistically. I love drinking, uh self performance, uh energy and mind in the afternoon. I know I'm gonna have a great six hours or so. I'm not wired or excited or agitated at all. My mind is clear. I have great energy. Uh, it's a, a guaranteed good afternoon.
Caffeine consumption: Explain benefits, side effects, and what to look for when choosing a caffeine product
Dr. Aaron Kaufman: This is the answer to number seven of the email questions about what is my favorites. A product coming up with my favorite Asia products is nigh on to impossible. I love everything they produce. They're just the most brilliantly designed uh healthcare products, break healthcare breakthrough technology products that I have ever seen or I think that anybody's ever seen that just address so many issues that are foundational to life. Certainly. A CS flagship product, uh C A redox drink is just amazing. The fact that at 70 years old, I can set new goals for myself athletically, I can help my daughter spend eight hours moving boxes and furniture and so forth and drink eight ounces and not being sore and pain. Um You know, the gel just works remarkably fast if I wake up with discomfort in my shoulder and rub this on in five minutes. I'm back to sleep. My skin looks so much better because all these redox products. I love the skin care system. It's my skin is healthier than it's ever been, particularly in my face. Um The cell performance products are just remarkable. I use all of them and they make such a difference in so many different areas and the nutritionals, uh, we carry in my clinic because they're just so brilliantly designed all natural sources and the way they figured out what to use and how to synergize is nothing short of remarkable. So I guess if I had to pick one, I would say renew 28 but that's not really honest because I love all of them so much.
What is your favorite ASEA product and why?
Dr. Aaron Kaufman: This is my number eight from the email questions. Uh Anything else I want to share? I am frequently asked, how does redox signaling molecules? Asia and the Asia products work in terms of disease processes. Somebody will ask me about a disease and it's very important to understand that none of these products are designed to treat or cure or diagnose any disease or medical condition or illness. They are simply the redox signaling molecules and all the products that support these redox in intercellular processes just allow ourselves to work like they did when we're young to youth and ourselves if you will and make them work more efficiently. So they take care of whatever that condition or illness or whatever is naturally. So again, real clearly, Asia products are not a drug, they do not treat or cure or diagnose any disease or illness. They simply empower ourselves to do what they're designed to do.
Anything else you would like to share with us?
Dr. Aaron Kaufman: I get asked frequently about how much of these products do I use? I tell people when they're drinking the uh C A redox drink either in the pouch or the uh the bottles that anybody who's over 50 years of age, anybody with significant health issues and anybody who's any version of an athlete and that's anybody who uses their body uh significantly during a day. And that just mean, may mean somebody who's very active uh as well as any uh order of athletes should be drinking eight ounces of a sea of redox a day for people on the metric system. That's 240 MLS a day. Um According to the guidelines, not mixing it with anything, uh not drinking out of metal, you know, paper, plastic or ceramic or glass and not uh drinking it at the same time as you eat or drink any other substances. Um As far as the gel is concerned, uh that's very individual determined by the purpose of why you're using this. If people use it cosmetically from here to here for uh wrinkles and blemishes as well as cellulite uh in the lower regions, they will probably go through putting enough so that it takes about a minute to rub until it's dry twice a day. They'll go through a tube of this in, uh, just over a month. If like me, I'm an outlier, but I use it on all my areas of discomfort, my neck and shoulders and my low back and my hips. And before I go for a workout and I'm losing here. So I put it up here cause it increases blood flow. And anytime I have discomfort I go through approximately, uh, eight tubes a month. Uh, athletes will go through even more. But those are my recommendations. Um, but it's totally individual depending on what your purpose is.
