Tell us a little bit about yourself
Rosemary : Hi, I'm Rose. I'm 61 years old. I have two kids. I like to go for walks. I work out, I do go traveling now.
Tell us about your diagnosis
Rosemary : Hi, my diagnose I was 55 and I didn't know what was happening when it was, when it happened. They brought, they brought me to the hospital and they did a bunch of tests and they told me that I was having a heart attack. And so then they brought me down for surgery and apparently I died while I was down there. And then when I came back up, they told me that they had to put two stents in and that I had congestive heart failure.
How has your life changed since your diagnosis?
Rosemary : I was very scared at first to try anything or do anything. I was nervous. I was depressed. Um, didn't know what to do.
How has Best Care impacted your life?
Rosemary : The program, it really kicked my butt. It, helped me in so many ways. It, gave me direction. They, gave me a purpose. They told me what to do, how to do it. They gave me the tools to work with and if I had a problem they were on it and they sent me to the proper places that had, I needed to go to. So, yes, I really, really like this program.
Do you have a message for others about the Best Care program?
Rosemary : I suggest to everyone to come because it will give you confidence. It helps you with your situation, your weight, your heart problems, your health, all together, even with your doctors, they help you with. I, I'm so glad I started this program and I suggest to everybody do it. And as far as I'm concerned, I really hope that this program keeps going and there is more of it for more people. Thank you.
